Surly Rim Strips have one job and they do it well. They cover the cutouts in your rim
Rim strips are crucial and should be used with all Surly rims
Lighter than PVC rim strips
Narrower rim strip still covers spoke holes/cutouts, and allows more adhesion of tubeless tape over the top of strip
