Tried Many, Staying With These
My drivetrain is Truvativ rings 22/32/44 on a Middleburn crankset, SRAM X9 derailleurs front and rear, and KMC X9.99 chain on Miche 9speed cogs. I have trialed FSA, RaceFace, Middleburn, and Shimano rings as well, and in my setup these have the most positive chain pickup and release of all tested. Did take a little tuning - I have my middle ring flat on the spider, the big ring spaced out 0.6mm, and the small ring spaced in 1.2mm - but this is expected given the variable chainring spacing from different makers. Can't address durability, haven't had them that long, but the shifting gets two thumbs up.
